One of the most sought after beach points in Naples is at the end of Vanderbilt Beach Rd, where Gulf Shore Dr turns to the north. There are full beach facilities, bathrooms, showers, bike paths and storage, a round-about cul-de-sac for families to loan and unload, a three-story parking garage with architecture that blends into the landscape of the area and tucked back in a cluster of beachfront trees and mangroves, local small shops to get beach supplies and a quick bite - all by one of the most beautiful beaches in Naples.
Delnor-Wiggins, just to the north, is a top south Florida destination. A hidden gem, at the western end of Immokalee Rd (Bluebill Ave west of 41), tucked between Water Turtle Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, this sliver of pristine, untouched, well manicured state park is one of the nicest state parks in all of Florida. Wiggins Pass and Barefoot Beach Preserve lie to the north, and all of Vanderbilt Beach to the south, this park is centrally located, convenient to many of the developments on the north end of VB. Vanderbilt Beach is adjacent to Naples Park to the east and Pelican Bay to the south. There is plenty of parking inside the park and a friendly ranger will help guide you whereever your heart desires. Visitors enjoy boating, canoeing, fishing, observing wilflife, snorkeling, picnicking, swimming and all the amenities available as conveniences including boat ramps, full restrooms and even showers.
